The founder of the Firm, Scott B. Schwartz, Esq., earned a Bachelor of Arts from the State University of New York at Binghamton. Thereafter, he graduated from University of Miami School of Law. After passing the New York State Bar Examination, Scott Schwartz practiced law at a prominent medical malpractice law firm in downtown Manhattan. During that time, he defended the interests of medical professionals, hospitals and medical facilities that were sued by their former patients. A few years later, Scott Schwartz joined a Manhattan-based personal injury firm where he acted as lead counsel in a number of State Court jury trials. Most recently, he worked at a mid-sized commercial and corporate law firm.
Scott Schwartz is admitted to practice in the Second Circuit Court of Appeals, the Federal Court for the Southern District of New York and the Federal Court for the Eastern District of New York. He is an accomplished appellate practitioner who has argued before the First and Second Departments of New York’s Appellate Division. In addition, he has served as lead counsel in State Court cases that took place in all five boroughs of the City of New York, Long Island and Westchester.
